Ingredients
- 3 pieces thick-cut bacon, sliced in half
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron or panini press to a medium temperature.
- Arrange the bacon slices evenly on the surface and close the lid; cook for 2 minutes.
- Open the lid and move the bacon so any unbrowned areas contact the hot metal, then close the lid and cook an additional 25 minutes, depending on desired crispness.
- Transfer the cooked bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess fat. Reserve the rendered fat for future use if desired you should have about 1 to 3 tablespoons of drippings depending on the bacon.
