Horseradish and Chive Compound Butter

Ingredients
- 1 stick softened butter
- 1/3 cup chopped chives
- 3 tablespoons horseradish
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
- In a food processor, pulse the butter, chives, horseradish, salt, and lemon zest until the mixture is smooth.
- Transfer the butter onto a sheet of plastic wrap or parchment paper.
- Wrap and shape into a log.
- Refrigerate until firm.
- Slice and serve over grilled steak.
Chef's Tips
Flavor variations: Experiment with other compound butters using leftover ingredients from your fridgetry capers, pickles, olives, or a dash of hot sauce for unique twists on this classic.
