Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon flaky salt
- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice, divided
- 1 1/2 cups plus 2 tablespoons apple cider
- 3 1/2 cups ice
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup cinnamon schnapps
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Lemon juice, to taste
- 2 apple slices, whipped cream, and cinnamon sticks for garnish
Instructions

On a small plate, combine the granulated sugar, flaky salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of the apple pie spice.

Pour 2 tablespoons of apple cider onto a second small plate. Dip the rims of two rocks glasses into the cider, then press them into the sugarspice mixture to coat; set the glasses aside.

In a blender, add the ice, tequila, cinnamon schnapps, vanilla extract, lemon juice (to taste), the remaining 1 1/2 cups apple cider, and the remaining 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice.

Blend until frothy and smooth, then pour into the prepared glasses.

Garnish each margarita with an apple slice, a dollop of whipped cream, and a cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.
