Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a glass bowl, combine 4 ounces semisweet chocolate chips or wafers and 2 teaspoons shortening or coconut oil. Melt in the microwave at 50% power in 30-second intervals, stirring after each until smooth (about 1-2 minutes).
  2. Slide 12 yellow marshmallow bunnies (like Peeps) onto lollipop sticks. Dip each one into the melted chocolate, using a small spatula for even coating. Tap off excess on the bowl's side, then place on the prepared sheet. For the classic bunny butt look, press a halved mini marshmallow onto each as a tail. Chill in the fridge until set, about 20 minutes.
  3. Bunny face variation: Skip the tail. Add two small edible candy eyes, a small orange jelly bean for the carrot nose, and halved green jelly beans trimmed as carrot tops at the base.
