Ingredients
- 1 jicama, washed and peeled
- 1 medium chayote fruit, peeled and washed
- 1 orange, peeled and segmented
- 1 cucumber, peeled
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 pinch chili flakes, to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves
- Salt to taste
- Toothpicks
Instructions
- Separate the orange into segments, reserving any leftover fruit pieces. Cut the jicama, chayote, and cucumber into thin, finger-like strips. Place the citrus segments in a bowl with the sliced vegetables, squeeze the lime juice and remaining fruit pieces over the mixture, then add the chili flakes and cilantro. Toss everything together gently.
