Directions:

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the canola oil, honey, lime juice, soy sauce, and Sriracha until smooth.
  • Use immediately as a quick marinade for peeled shrimp before grilling; reserve some to brush on while cooking if desired.
  • Because this marinade contains a fair amount of sugar, it's best for fast-cooking proteins like shrimp to prevent the sugars from burning on high heat.

Note: Marinades high in sugar are ideal for quick-cooking proteins such as shrimp to avoid charring during grilling.
