Hibiscus, Lime and Mint Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 cups of water
- 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger root
- 1/2 cup of raw sugar
- Juice of 1/2 a lime plus some lime pulp for decoration
- 1/2 bunch of fresh mint leaves, with extra mint leaves cut into thin strips for garnish
- 1/2 cup of dried hibiscus flowers
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Pour the water and ginger into a large saucepan and bring to a rolling boil over medium heat.
- Stir in the sugar, lime juice, mint leaves, and hibiscus flowers.
- Take the pot off the stove and allow the mixture to steep for around 20 minutes.
- Strain the liquid into a pitcher, then serve over glasses filled with ice.
- Finish by adding mint strips and lime pulp as garnish.
